Jujutsu Kaisen Season 1 introduces us to Yuji Itadori, an average high school student who spends his time taking care of his sick grandpa. Even though he seems like a regular teenager, he’s actually incredibly strong! All the sports clubs want him to join because of his amazing abilities, but he prefers to spend time with the outcasts in the Occult Club at school.
Yuji Itadori unexpectedly becomes entangled in the world of curses and sorcery. After coming into contact with a cursed object, Yuji is inhabited by a powerful curse named Ryomen Sukuna, one of the most dangerous entities known to sorcerers.
To protect those around him and prevent Sukuna from wreaking havoc, Yuji enrols in Tokyo Metropolitan Jujutsu Technical High School, where he trains to become a sorcerer and fights against curses.
